What This Site Does

CaliforniaBirthIndex.org provides free public access to the California Birth Index, a public record dataset containing birth records registered in California from 1905 through 1995. This data is public record maintained by the California Department of Public Health.

Search queries: When you search for a name on this site, that search is processed by our server to return results. We do not log or store your individual search queries.
